  • Rangun universitetining tarix fakultetini tugatgan. Ta’lim sohasida ishlagan. Bir nechta kitoblarni tarjima ham qilgan[12].
  • O’rta maktab direktori lavozimida ham ishlagan.
  • 1947-yilda Myanma hukumati matbuot kotibi bo’lgan.
  • 1948-yilda Myanma axborot xizmati raisi.
  • 1951-1957-yillarda Bosh vazir maslahatchisi.
  • 1957-1961-yillarda Myanmaning BMTdagi doimiy vakili.
  • 1959-yilda BMT Bosh Assambleyasi 14-sessiyasi raisining o’rinbosari.
  • 1961-yilda BMT ta’minot fondi raisi[13].
  • 1961-yil 3-noyabrda BMT bosh kotibi vazifasini bajaruvchi etib tayinlandi.[14]. Oradan bir yil o’tib, 30-noyabr kuni Bosh kotib etib saylandi.
  • 2-dekabr 1966-yilda 2-muddatga saylandi.
  • 25-noyabr 1974-yilda o’pka saratonidan vafot etdi.
