              The main purpose of teaching popular science articles is to give children a certain knowledge of nature, human labor and social life, to teach children to work independently with books and to acquire more accurate knowledge from them. Popular science articles prepare children to read newspapers and magazines, help them master socio-political, natural science terms, and develop their logical thinking and speech.

Native language and reading literacy textbooks include works of art of various genres and popular science articles. The objective content of any work is the whole being, the being, its various aspects , the evidence and their interaction. In art, life is depicted through images. It should be noted that at the heart of the work of art is man, his attitude to society and nature. The rules of depiction of existence, reality in the work of art through images, objective content and subjective assessment in a clear material are of great theoretical and practical importance for the methodology.

First, in organizing the work on the work of art, the teacher’s focus is on the images and the author’s attitude to the events depicted in the work. Students will gain an understanding of the specifics of depicting reality through images.

Second, any work of art depicts events in a specific historical period. Therefore, it is possible to read the text correctly, to understand the reasons for the behavior of the participants, to evaluate the facts and events only if there is a historical approach to the events described in the play. When applying this to the primary grades, it is necessary to first acquaint the children briefly with the period described in the play, and then to develop in the students an assessment of the participants' behavior taking into account the period in which they lived and social factors.
