Formula 500
Formula 500 (F500) — bu Amerika sport avtomobillari klubi (SCCA) va Oʻrta gʻarbiy sport avtomobil klublari kengashi (MCSCC) tomonidan tashkil etilgan ochiq gʻildirakli poyga musobaqasi hisoblanadi[1].
Formula 500 dastlab 1980-yillarning boshida Formula 440 (F440) sifatida tashkil etilgan. Bir nechta shassi ishlab chiqaruvchilari yangi qoidalar toʻplamiga turli dizaynlarni ishlab chiqaradilar. Dvigatellar qoidalar toʻplami bilan belgilanadi va ishlab chiqaruvchilarga dvigatelning ichki qismlarini oʻzgartirishga ruxsat berilmaydi. Kawasaki tomonidan ishlab chiqarilgan Kawasaki 440/A dvigateli 38 mm Mikuni VM seriyali karburatorlar va sozlangan qoʻsh egzozdan foydalanadigan 436 cc pistonli portli dvigateldir. Ushbu dvigatel hozirga kelib yoʻl poygalarida raqobatbardosh boʻlmasa-da, u hali ham Solo II va Autocross tadbirlarida keng qoʻllaniladi. Two Stroke International tomonidan ishlab chiqarilgan AMW 500L-85 dvigateli F500ga 1994-yilda taqdim etilgan. Bu 38 mm Mikuni SuperBN egizak karburatorlardan foydalangan holda ishlatiladigan 497 kub hajmli dvigateldir.
