Dorothy Phillips (Dorothy Gwendolyn Strible, talaffuzi: „Doroti Gvendolin Stribl“, 1889-yil 30-oktyabr — 1980-yil 1-mart)[1] amerikalik sahna va kino aktrisasi edi. U melodramalarda o‘zining hissiyotli o‘yinlari bilan tanilgan, ekranda bir qancha „kaltaklangan“ ayollarni o‘ynagan, biroq yoqimli xulq-atvorga ega edi[2].
Karyerasi

U 1911-yilda "Rosary" deb nomlangan ikki gʻaltakli filmda debyut qilgan va oʻz faoliyati davomida 150 dan ortiq filmlarda suratga tushgan. Bir muncha vaqt u rossiyalik Gollivud aktrisasi Alla Nazimovaga taqlid qilish qobiliyati uchun Kid Nazimova laqabini olgan[3]. Philips "Universal Pictures" filmida koʻpincha Lon Chaney bilan rol oʻynagan. Ular Chikagodagi „Every Woman“ spektaklida kamtarlik qahramoni sifatida sahnada rol oʻynaganida uchrashishdi[4]. Uning oʻlimidan keyin 1925-yil oʻrtalariga qadar aktyorlikka qaytmadi. Phillips ham 1980-yilda 90 yoshida pnevmoniyadan vafot etdi. U eri bilan Los-Anjelesdagi Gollivud abadiy qabristonining Secret Garden qismida dafn etilgan[6].
