Committee on Data for Science and Technology (CODATA) — qisqartmaning ruscha talaffuzi [kodata]) — 1966-yilda tashkil etilgan fan boʻyicha xalqaro kengashning distsiplinlerası qoʻmitasi  ilm — fan va texnologiya muammolari uchun muhim maʼlumotlarni toʻplash, tanqidiy baholash, saqlash va qidirishni maqsad qilgan[1].

1998-yildan boshlab, internetda darhol maʼlumot yaratish va nashr qilish tendentsiyasini hisobga olgan holda, CODATA ishchi guruhi har toʻrt yilda bir marta qaror qabul qilib, sobit qiymatlarni nashr etishga yondashuvini oʻzgartirdi.

2017-yilga kelib, Xalqaro birliklar tizimining (SI) yangi tahririni yakunlash uchun foydalanilgan fundamental konstantalar qiymatlari toʻplamining maxsus, favqulodda nashri tayyorlandi. 2018-yilda asosiy sobit toʻplamining chiqarilishi Si ning yangi versiyasiga asoslangan edi, shuning uchun bir qator sobit xatolar sezilarli darajada oʻzgargan.
