Object history

Deutsch: Die Hirschstange symbolisiert Württemberg, zu dem Tuttlingen, Trossingen und kleinere Orte seit 1444 gehörten. Das Rad steht für die vorderösterreichische Obere Grafschaft Hohenberg, zu der Spaichingen gehörte. Das Wappen zeigt also, dass der Landkreis 1938 aus den einstigen Oberämtern Tuttlingen und Spaichingen gebildet wurde.
