This is a huge, absolutely TOP GEM and GLASSY-CLEAR topaz on matrix. The crystal measures 8 cm in height and over 5 across! It was very hard to photograph, so it is far more impressive in person. The crystal has textbook form, superb faces and termination. It is complete all around. You can see right through it as if looking through glass. In fact, you could cut a monster fine stone from it! CONDITION: There is one clean repair, towards the bottom of the crystal, where the crystal broke off and was reattached, and there is a ding at that point, but that is not the important and showy part of the crystal. There is also a ding on one corner and some little contacts below that, but not enough to detract much at all. The important display face IS sensational. The matrix is muscovite with quartz and some other topaz crystals (one of which is actually very nice in its own right!). 11.2 x 10.9 x 8.5 cm
