Deutsch: Bei den Emblemen deutet der Pfau auf die ehemalige Wiedische Landeshoheit hin. Dass Steimel ein uralter Marktort ist, wird durch die Waage dargestellt. Der Steinhügel symbolisiert den Namen der Gemeinde („Steinbul“ - Steimel). Die Kapelle weist auf die früher vorhandene Martinskapelle hin.
