Object history
Deutsch: Der Oberpräsident der Provinz Brandenburg verlieh am 6. Februar 1937 der Gemeinde das Wappen. Versuche der Nationalsozialisten, das Wappen zu verändern, schlugen fehl. Sie wollten in dem freien Raum zwischen den beiden Schleusentoren ein Hakenkreuz anbringen. Das vom Heraldiker Frank Diemar neu gestaltete Wappen wurde am 7. Januar 1994 bestätigt. Es stellt im oberen Teil das Tor der Schleuse Kleinmachnows dar, im unteren Teil die drei Gemshörner (Haken) aus dem Wappen derer von Hake.
