Yasser Arafat[lower-alpha 1] (4[3][4] yoki 24-avgust[5][6]:269  1929-yil — 11-noyabr 2004-yil) — shuningdek, Abu Ammar taxallusi bilan mashhur boʻlgan[lower-alpha 2], Falastin siyosiy rahbari. Yasser Arafat 1969—2004-yillarda Falastin Ozodlik Tashkiloti (FOT) raisi, 1994—2004-yillarda esa Falastin milliy maʼmuriyati (FMM) prezidenti boʻlgan[7]. Mafkuraviy jihatdan arab millatchisi va sotsialist Arofat 1959-yildan 2004-yilgacha boshqargan Fatah siyosiy partiyasining asoschisi boʻlgan.
