Deutsch: Das Wappen der Gemeinde Nörvenich ist durch Erlass des Innenministers des Landes Nordrhein-Westfalen vom 26.06.1969 genehmigt worden. „Es zeigt in Gold (gelb) über grün geteiltem Schild oben einen wachsenden rot bewehrten Löwen, unten einen schreitenden rot gekrönten und bewehrten, goldenen (gelben) Löwen.“ Das Wappen zeigt oben den Jülicher Löwen (Herzogtum Jülich) und unten einen schreitenden Löwen (eventuell den geldrischen Löwen) und ist dem Nörvenicher Schöffensiegel des Jahres 1556 nachgebildet.
English: „The arms were granted in 1962 and confirmed on June 26, 1969. The upper part shows the lion of the Dukes of Jülich, who ruled the area from 1177-17th century. The origin of the lower lion is unknown. The arms are based on a seal dating from 1556. Older seals show a castle with in front of the gate the arms of Jülich. “
