Hyphomicrobiales gram-manfiy alfaproteobakteriyalar guruhidir .
Azotni tutuvchi va o'simlik ildizlari bilan simbioz holda yashovchi rizobiya bir nechta turli o'simlik oilalarda paydo bo'ladi. Nitrobakteriyalar, Gifomikobakteriyalar, Fillobakteriyalar va Rizobakteriyalar kabi tarkibida azot saqlovchi, dukkakli o'simliklarni tugunaklarida yashovchi mikrosimbiotik bakteriyalarning kamida bir nechta avlodi mavjud. Misollar, Bradirizobium va Rhizobium avlodlari. Methylocystaceae turlari - metanotroflar ; ular yagona energiya va uglerod manbalari sifatida metanol (CH 3 OH) yoki metan (CH 4 ) dan foydalanadilar.
