The Roman Doric order, engraving illustration of the Roman-Doric order from the Theater of Marcellus, from A. Rosengarten (english translation by W. Collett-Sandars), A Handbook of Architectural Styles, (London: Chatto & Windus, 1912), p 116, ill. 195. This book was also previously published in NYC by Charles Scribner's Sons, 1898[1]. There also appears to be another London printing of 1886[2]. The author's date of death is not known.
