English: Publicity photo of Frank Sinatra in the 1940s; it is not precisely dated, but is likely circa 1945 or later. The photo was credited to (or at least distributed by) Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer. Sinatra's first appearance in an MGM film was in 1942's Ship Ahoy, but it was a small uncredited role. His first credited (and leading) role in an MGM film was 1945's Anchors Aweigh.
