Català: Escut o segell de Vallibona (els Ports, País Valencià) segons Carles Sarthou (1913): «Ha anat canviant. Unes voltes fou un esquirol en actitud de saltar dins d'una corona de llorer. Altres consistí en dos monts separats i poblats de bosc, on es veu al fons una vall, i completa el conjunt un xicotet escut amb les barres reials d'Aragó a la punta superior del celatge.» (SARTHOU CARRERES, Carlos: Geografía general del Reino de Valencia, provincia de Castellón; Barcelona, Alberto Martín, 1913). Aquest dibuix apareix al llibre de Sarthou i sembla que es tracta del segell utilitzat per l'Ajuntament entre 1846 i 1860, segons està registrat a l'Arxiu Històric Nacional[1].
Español: Escudo o sello de Vallibona (Castellón, España) según Carlos Sarthou (1913): «Ha ido variando. Unas veces fue una ardilla en actitud de saltar dentro de una corona de laurel. Otras consistió en dos montes separados y poblados de bosque, viéndose en el fondo un valle, y completando el conjunto un pequeño escudo con las barras reales de Aragón en la punta superior del celaje.» (SARTHOU CARRERES, Carlos: Geografía general del Reino de Valencia, provincia de Castellón; Barcelona, Alberto Martín, 1913). En el libro de Sarthou aparece este dibujo como escudo. Es muy parecido al sello que utilizó en ayuntamiento entre 1846 y 1860 y que está registrado en el Archivo Histórico Nacional[2].
