Object history
Deutsch: Die Eiche im stammt aus dem Bildsiegel des ehemaligen Marktes Hofstätten, aus dem späten 18. Jahrhundert. Die Kirche weist auf die ehemalige Klosterkirche von Sonnefeld im Stil vor ihrem Umbau 1855/56 hin. Die Farben der oberen Schildhälfte, Silber und Blau, sind die bayerischen Landesfarben. Die Farben Grün und Silber erinnern an die Zugehörigkeit zum Herzogtum Sachsen-Coburg.
English: The oak tree ist derived from a seal of the former Markt Hofstätten from the later 18. century. The church is the former monastery church Sonnefeld before renovation in 1855/56. The coluors of the upper part are the Bavarian, Argent and azure; and in the lower part the colours of the duchy Sachsen-Coburg, vert and Argent.
