Object history
Deutsch: Als Marksteinzeichen des Orts galt 1684 die Initiale S. 1930 zeigte das Schultheißenamtssiegel das jetzige Wappen in einer Schildform, die auf die Jahre um 1820 zurückweist. Das rote Büffelgehörn war die Wappenfigur der Herren von Sachsenheim, die einst die Ortsherrschaft innehatten. Während deren Familienwappen einen silbernen Schild aufwies, wählte die Gemeinde 1939 einen goldenen Schild, in dem zeitweilig nur das Gehörn erschien. Unterm 13. Dezember 1956 bestätigte das Innenministerium die vom Gemeinderat bereits am 2. Dezember 1955 beschlossene Wiederaufnahme des nicht sicher gedeuteten Beizeichens der drei Kugeln, die ebenfalls rot tingiert sind. Das Landratsamt Ludwigsburg hat die Flagge am 9. Oktober 1980 verliehen.
