Object history
Deutsch: Die Herren von Schöfstall waren von 1349 bis zu ihrem Aussterben 1544 im Ort ansässig. Sie hatten dort ausgedehnten Grundbesitz und waren Besitzer des Schlosses. Sie führten in ihrem Wappen einen Fährmann, das in mehreren Wappenbüchern überliefert ist. Der Ziegel und die Hopfenblüte weisen auf die beiden wichtigsten Erwerbszweige im Gemeindegebiet hin, nämlich Ziegelei und Brauerei.
