English: „The arms of Hilchenbach were granted on October 23, 1911 and confirmed on April 13, 1970. The arms are based on a local seal dating from the 15th century. The meaning of the wolf is not clear. The colours were derived from the colours of Nassau, as the area historically belonged to the County Nassau-Siegen.“
