Object history
Deutsch: Das Wappen wurde am 4. Juni 1957 vom rheinland-pfälzischen Innenministerium genehmigt. Der Pfälzer Löwe steht für die frühere Zugehörigkeit zur Kurpfalz. Die aus einem Klostersiegel stammende Krümme des Äbtissinnenstabes steht für das Kloster Maria Münster zu Worms, welches bereits vor 1245 Zehnt- und Patronatsherr des Ortes war.
English: The arms were granted on June 4, 1957. The crook of the croziers remembers on the abbess monastery of Marienmünster of Worms, to which the villige belonged about 1245 till 15th century.
